Jonas Brothers Postpone Mexico Tour Dates, Reason Why Revealed | Joe Jonas, Jonas Brothers, Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas | Just Jared: Celebrity News & Gossip

Sad news for that Jonas Brothers fans.

Hours earlier, they were scheduled to take the stage in Mexico City on Friday (May 3). The round, Nick Jonas announced that he and brothers Kevin And Joe Jonas had to postpone the next four shows after he became ill.

Keep reading to learn more…‘I have less nice news to share’ Nick, 31, shared in an Instagram video while he could barely speak. “A few days ago I started feeling a little rough, lost my voice when I woke up and went out that night to be able to play the show in Cancun.”

Nick said his condition has become “gradually worse” in recent days, adding that he was sick in bed with fever, body aches and sore throat. A doctor has now diagnosed him with influenza A.

“I’ve come to the decision this morning that things haven’t gotten any better and… I can’t get on stage tonight and play these shows in Mexico City and Monterrey,” Nick shared. “I just have to recover and beat this thing. I’m so sorry, I hate to disappoint you. You do so much to support us and many of you traveled to that show and I just wanted to say I’m just heartbroken about this.

The Jonas Brothers were originally scheduled to perform in Mexico City on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4 before heading to Monterrey for shows on Monday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 7.

The shows in Mexico City have now been postponed to August 21 and 22, while the shows in Monterrey will take place on August 24 and 25.

Nick signed his message by sending his love to the fans and saying he hopes he will be “back and healthy as soon as possible.”
