Mental Health Awareness Month provides an opportunity to shine a light on the importance of mental health, promote understanding and encourage support.

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Month is ‘Healing Together: Hope, Connection and Community’.

Recently, the conversation about mental health has become increasingly prominent, with more and more people openly discussing their problems and seeking help.

However, stigmas and misconceptions still exist, preventing many people from seeking the support they need.

Mental Health Awareness Month serves as a platform to challenge these stigmas and encourage open dialogue about mental health issues.

One of the main goals of Mental Health Awareness Month is to emphasize the importance of self-care.

Activities such as mindfulness exercises, journaling, physical activity, and spending time with loved ones are encouraged as ways to prioritize mental well-being.
