United States | USCIS is updating the fee rule FAQ to assist with submissions

US Citizenship and Immigration Services has updated the FAQ on the new fee rule to help certain filers understand how to file the correct required fees.

BAL analysis: The updated FAQ with clarifying instructions for certain petitioners was in direct response to the number of petitions USCIS received with incorrect fees. The agency stated on X: “We are receiving many petitions with incorrect fees. If you submit Form I-140, I-129, or I-129CW, make sure your payment corresponds to the required charges or we will have to deny your request.
