Barcelona are ready to sell Raphinha to Man Utd for £51.2 million

Raphinha plays for Brazil

Manchester United should improve their right wing this summer and Raphinha’s name is once again in the spotlight.

According to Spanish source Nacional, Barcelona are ready to sell Brazilian winger Raphinha to Man Utd for £51.2 million.

In December last year, United offered Jadon Sancho in exchange for the former Leeds United striker. Ultimately, the England international returned to Dortmund on loan.

Joan Laporta is willing to sacrifice the Samba star in the summer transfer window and is targeting Nico Williams to replace him.

According to the Catalan news channel, Barcelona’s president is demanding a fee of £51.2 million (60 million euros) from Man Utd to send Raphinha to Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old proved his worth in England at Elland Road before moving to Spain and last season won the La Liga with the Blaugrana.

This season he has been in and out of the starting line-up under Xavi, but his stats are impressive.

So far, the South American winger has directly contributed to 21 goals (9 goals and 12 assists) in 25 starts across all competitions.

At Old Trafford, the future of right wingers such as Greenwood and Sancho, who are on loan, is uncertain, on the other hand, Antony and Amad have not proven good enough.

Therefore, a top RW should be signed by Man Utd and Raphinha would be an ideal addition.
