St. Catherine man fined $20,000 for farm trespass | News

St Catherine resident Renair Honigan was fined $20,000 or 10 days in jail in the parish court on Friday for trespassing on a farm in Bog Walk.

Honigan, 30, pleaded guilty to trespassing on agricultural land.

The sentencing was handed down by Judge Desiree Alleyne of the Senior Parish Court.

The facts are that the man was seen on the premises of Trade Winds Farms in New Works, Sunny Side, Bog Walk on April 25 at around 2.30pm and was detained.

“An orange mi is coming over you,” he said when spoken to.

He was arrested and charged with violating the Trespassing Act.
